Batavia Floral Designs is opening their doors to brides opting to do their own wedding flowers. We are now offering Wedding Design Parties for brides. Along with friends or family, rent our facilities to create your wedding designs. This is a great way to really control your budget by taking out the labor charges and doing the work yourself. You have access to all of our tools and floral supply items such as pins, tape and wire. You will also have full access to a professional floral designer who will be on hand to offer tips, advice, instruction and guidance.

Here's how it works:

A Wedding Design Party is all inclusive. It begins with the pre-planning initial consult. Here, you meet with a wedding consultant to pick out the flowers you want for your wedding. Flowers are purchased from us in grower packs which offers special pricing. The consultant will assist you in making sure you get the best use of all of your flowers purchased. We will recommend the containers/vases you might need along with the amount of ribbon you will need. You can either purchase these items from us, or bring what you have the night of your party to use.

From here, we will handle ordering your flowers, making sure the best quality of flowers and all the correct color choices are filled. Your flowers will be delivered to us and we will handle cleaning, processing and conditioning your flowers upon arrival, further enhancing the quality of your flowers. Your flowers will be ready for you to use when you arrive for your party.

Your party will be scheduled for the Wednesday evening before your Friday wedding, Thursday evening before your Saturday wedding and Friday evening for your Sunday wedding. You and up to 8 friends and family members arrive at our shop at the pre-arranged time (5:00pm, 5:30pm or 6:00pm) and will find all of your flowers ready to go. All of your flowers will be separated into their specified uses. Your fun starts now and you immediately begin making your beautiful wedding arrangements. Your floral designer will orient you to the shop and as to where everything is that you will need and is available to guide you wherever you might think you need her assistance. Most weddings can be completed within the three hours, but if for some reason more time is needed, your designer is available for additional time at a rate of $50.00/hour. When your wedding is complete, your designer will help you organize your flowers so your wedding day goes smoothly and she will help you pack your flowers for easy transport. Your flowers are then stored in our cooler, ready for pick up the day of your wedding. A floral designer will be assigned to your wedding flowers, making sure that they are kept in perfect condition until they are picked up.
